How do you raise a feminist? Do you imbue your daughters and sons with a sense of empowerment, that they can do and be anything they want, that they try, that they try? Do you hand over the dictionary definition–political, economic, and social equality of the sexes–and allow your daughters and sons to navigate around the terrain? Maybe there’s a way to survive the Trump administration: channel a French woman. “French women know that withholding information is seductive. When an alt-right bro gaslights you, keep some choice expletives in reserve until you get to know each other better. ;)”
