Flying back today. I’ve missed being home. I’ve missed the people I’ve left in New York. I’ve missed my routine, my comfort, my time zone. And I’ve really missed my dog. I am a homebody; even in my child-free days, when I went out almost every night of the week, what I preferred to do always was to be home. I like what I have, what I’ve grown into. So being apart from it always throws me off. It makes me uneasy. It forces me to rely on other things, like taxi services to get around instead of hopping on a train. So going home? It’s a delight. I’m looking forward to it. Have a great weekend.

Jenji Kohan: “I see them as gorgeous and sexy and interesting and normative in a way that the milieu doesn’t always present.”
