You know the adage, the personal is political? I’m feeling, particularly in the last few months, that the world of politics is infiltrating my personal life. That I wake up with my face shaped like Edvard Munch’s Ghoul. Do you feel that way? Is there a way to separate what is happening in Washington from what’s happening within you?

A petition to Stop the Personhood Bill (Bill HR 586)! Here is what the Bill sets out to do: “This bill declares that: (1) the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human and is a person’s most fundamental right; (2) each human life begins with fertilization, cloning, or its equivalent, at which time every human has all the legal and constitutional attributes and privileges of personhood; and (3) Congress, each state, the District of Columbia, and each U.S. territory have the authority to protect all human lives.” Nope, nope, nope.
